General
Improve the living
conditions of forest depending people in Northern Bolivia through developing and disseminating
knowledge on sustainable forest management
|

Specific
Generate knowledge and
information on sustainable forest management and establish a Centre for research and information on
sustainable forestry.
Introduce recent theoretical and
practical issues on forest management in the university forest department curriculum.
Support and exert forest
communities and governmental agencies in forest management through design and implementation of
forest management plans, introduction of silvicultural interventions and product processing.
